Please note: our thingie to transfer our pix has broken….so no pix for now, until I can figure out how to fix it, if that’s possible.

Today was a very slow slow day. It IS Sunday after all. We walked further south along the beach to check out the meaner waves, and boy oh boy, are they ever wild. We tumbled. Nearly lost the bottom part of my bathing suit. Rosie got spooked a bit by the sheer size and strength of the waves. Sylvain, our neighbour from Hull played some good music on his sound syste
m today. America (from the 70s) and some French-Canadian music as well. Too weird being so far from home, yet so really close! For supper, made some rice and beans….a humongous batch. Good for a small army. Tim wants us to be careful with money, so we will have beans for breakfast, lunch and supper….and then for snacks, we will have bean sandwiches.Joking of course. Tonite, a little dog followed us home after we visited Susan’s place. Part miniature Pinscher. Heh, a miniature Cleo! She stayed for a while, waited for us to feed her, which we didn’t do because otherwise she would have stayed too long. Anyways, gotta go. Early to rise tomorrow morning, as we prepare for a trek to Osa Peninsula across the bay. Apparently, there are fresh water falls, wild animals, parrots, monkeys and so on. Look forward to it. Tata
TimToday’s game is guess whose feet these are. Will give you a clue, one of them is mine. Being the last to write there is not much new I can add, but boy do I love bean milk shakes mmm mmm.
On thing interesting happened today while swimming, a school of little fish jumped out of the water very close to use, from what I have heard this is when bigger fish are chasing them. We never saw any bigger fish, just the little ones jumping
Tonight we will hit the sack early as we have a long hike tomorrow. Hope all the animals are out.
The waves down the beach were much bigger. I can't wait to return and try them out with the boogie board.
