As the mercury drops dramatically here in the National Capital of Canada, our excitement rises with the anticipation of our departure to Costa Rica. On Jan. 29th, we fly out to San José where we will stay one night before heading out to Golfito by air. There, a water taxi will await to bring us to our final destination in Playa Zancudo, a lovely home on the beach (

We have started to pack our swim things, goggles, snorkels and masks.It is exciting. However, the only downside to the trip will be to say goodbye to our sweet Sage, our three-year old Golden Retriever.
