Rosie's first day : Monday January 29th 2007


Hey guys! Today was a long day , we woke up at 4:00 am to take a cab to go to the airport . When we got there did the security , checked in the luggage . The security guard took random persons like my dad for a more more precise . Then we went in the waiting area and waited for our plane . So we got on our plane for 1 hour to go to Toronto . When we got there , we got something to eat and to drink and went in the waiting area to wait for our flight . We got on the plane and got a breakfast I had waffles . We had to turn our watches back one hour . We were in the plane for 5 hours . We finally got to San José . Where it was 28 degrees . We got our luggage and checked it . After we jumped in a cab to go to our hotel . La Rosa de America . Where we went swimming and relaxed . Already we have seen all sorts of birds they are very colourful . We went to a restaurant that had no windows and Spanish music played while we where eating . Me and my dad ate the special: two pieces of chicken with 2 homemade tortillas with Plantain , homemade salsa and corn chips( the best ever) with Guacamole and Mole sauce . Dinner cost us 10,000 colones ( aka 20$) Then we went to a little store to buy sweet treats . Guess what guys because we are so close to the equator the sun goes down everyday around 6pm it dose not change like at home .Then we went back in our room and relaxed.

Got to go guys but tomorrow 8am we are going to see a volcano and move into our house.

Ma journée le mardi 30 janvier 2007 . Rosalyne

Salut tout le monde,

Aujourd’hui c’étais une journée très ocupé ! En premier nous sommes allés dejeuner à l’hotel , ensuite nous sommes allés voir le volcan Poas mais , nous pouvons rien voir car il y avait trop de brume . Ensuite nous sommes allés a une petite airéopart et nous sommes embarqués dans une très petite avion . Je m’ai assis en arrière de la pilote . Mais car il avait un problème de pesenteur , nos valises vont arriver demain . Ensuite nous avons vollé à Golfito ensuite nous avons pris un taxi pour aller à un port et nous avons pris un taxi à eau pour aller à notre nouvelle maison . La madame nous a donné un tour du petit village appelé Playa Zancoudo . Ensuite elle nous a montré notre maison . Wow ! Elle est tellement belle . Nous vivons sur le deuxième étage nous avons rencontré les voisins d’endessus Devinez quoi? Le voisin d’acoté viens de Hull ! Ensuite nous sommes allé voir la plage . J’ai juste un mot pour la décrire : Wow! Elle est tellement belle ! Ensuite nous sommes allés a un petit restaurant et jai vu un petit lézard! Oui un vrai! Ensuite nous sommes allés acheter des groceries . Ensuite nous nous sommes allé se baigner moi et ma mère . L’eau est sallé ! Esuite nous avons lu et relaxé et ensuite moi et ma mère nous sommes allé prendre une marche sur la plage .

Je dois partir mais demain on s’envas faire du Boggie Board .
